In December 2019, Education Ministers endorsed the development of a new national workforce strategy as a joint partnership between all governments, the children‘s education and care sector, and other key stakeholders. ACECQA, on behalf of all governments, is coordinating the development of the new strategy, including stakeholder NATIONAL QUALITY STANDARD National Quality Standard. The National Quality Standard (NQS) sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services in Australia. The NQS includes 7 quality areas that are important outcomes for children. Available only to a select number of services, the Program will run for approximately 18 weeksfor
CONNECTING WITH PRACTICE VIDEOS Connecting with practice: Discovering – story time transition to naptime. This video focuses on a small group of four-year-old children in a family day care service during story time and their preparations for rest time.
