Celebrate Stimson is a community collaboration between local businesses and their supporters along the commercial corridor of Stimson Avenue, and Erin has been visiting with the local owners to document their operations. ATHENS FOOD VENTURES CENTER The Athens Food Ventures Center houses the Central Kitchen, Dry Packaging Room, Thermal Processing Room, and Warehouse. The facility, utilized by approximately 65 food entrepreneurs annually, was among the first of its kind in the United States. Access to a shared-use, licensed, commercial kitchen reduces barriers for start-ups allowing APPALACHIA ACCESSIBLE FOOD NETWORK Appalachia Accessible Food Network Overview. The Appalachia Accessible Food Network is a collaborative project to accelerate the distribution of local foods into Appalachian Ohio communities by strengthening access, production, and consumption components of a local food value chain.The collaboration has received generous funding through the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation.
