While retro modelling might be a big thing for cars and airplanes, it wasn’t anything that had really seemed to catch on with Mobile Suits; until recently that is! A couple of years ago, Bandai rereleased all their early-90s catalogue of F-90 and SF-91Gundam kits.
BANDAI 1/100 MASTER GRADE RGM-89 R++ JEGAN (CUSTOM BUILD Bandai knows how to make the most out of things. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. However, once in a while they seem to miss out on something obvious. A perfect example is the RGM-89 Jegan. The Jegan was the “grunt” Mobile Suit (MS) in the 1988 Gundam Movie “Char’s Counterattack”. Often lost amongst all the larger (1/35), highly detailed kits of LRDG equipment is a real gem, at least in my view. That kit is the old 1/76 Matchbox LRDG. Being alone, feeling isolated and knowing that if someone decides to hurt you, that nobody has your back can’t be fun. Of course, in today’s world treating someone like that is frowned upon. People call it abuse, and bullying. MATCHBOX 1/72 HUNTER FGA.9/T.7 (OOB) The Hawker Hunter is one of the most successful British post-war jet aircraft. The Hobby Boss kit captures these odd contours very well, and is a pleasing and relatively accurate depiction of the RN’s newhunter/killer.

With the bodywork complete and the engine and chassis done, it was time to get things really underway on the BRAT. This meant getting the interior done, and getting the body into paint. Normally, I’m used to interiors taking quite some time. However, being a pickup, and a small one at that, the BRAT doesn’t BRAT UPDATE 2: TOPLESS ON BOTTOMJuly 16, 2019

When last we left off, I said that the next update would the engine and chassis. Never one to be a liar, this update covers those two items. Sometimes, you have no choice but to work with what you’re given. When it became apparent in the mid-‘70s that small trucks were going to be a thing, a lot of makers jumped on the bandwagon. Most companies, by 1980, had some kind of small truck to offer. In a lot ofcases, it was
