EXAM PROCTORING
A minimum advance notice of one week is needed. All test-taking requirements must be received in advance of the testing date from the issuing educational institution. Students must show picture identification before receiving the examination. The cost for the Library's proctoring service is $40. LOAN PERIODS AND REPLACEMENT FEES The due date for each item is printed on the receipt you receive upon borrowing. Loan Period. Physical Collections. (Note: Limit of 50 items per library card) Renewal. Five (5) renewals per item will be allowed (except Quick Flicks and Quick Picks). Study spaces are now available at both Main and Audley Branches. McLean Branch will be available starting September 8, 2020. Tables and chairs have been placed within the branches using Covid19 physical distancing protocols recommended by the provincial FRONT PAGE | AJAX PUBLIC LIBRARY Help us celebrate National AccessAbility Week (May 31 to June 6), June is Seniors Month and International Trail Day (Saturday, June 5) by exploring the trails of Ajax with Armi De Francia and members of the Ajax Accessibility Committee. FRONT PAGE | AJAX PUBLIC LIBRARY This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the opening of the DIL Plant, the largest munitions plant in the Commonwealth during WWII. To celebrate we’ll take a virtual tour through the plant, learning about what actually happened here, what life was like for the workers and families and how the plant itself influenced the creation of theTown of Ajax.

LOAN PERIODS AND REPLACEMENT FEES All replacement fees are per item. Borrowing privileges are restricted when unpaid charges reach $50.; Library membership is renewed every two (2) years. All outstanding charges must be paid in order to renewa membership card.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our Visiting Library Service , offered to customers who cannot visit the library due to age, illness, or disability. Volunteers come to the library once a month, pick up a bag of library materials and deliver to a customer in their home or at a seniors'residence.
