HOW TO SEARCH ONLINE MUSEUM COLLECTIONS The online collections search activity would be the perfect opportunity to discuss why objects from ancient Iraq are now on display in the British Museum, for example. The aim of the program is to better leverage digitized museum collections and related digital resources for public engagement, instruction, and lifelong learning. In addition, this program will explore training and consulting services for partner institutions to make better public engagement uses of PEOPLE - THE ALEXANDRIA ARCHIVE INSTITUTE Leigh Anne Lieberman (Ph.D., Princeton University) is an archaeologist whose research explores how and why artifacts and spaces were recycled and repurposed, especially in the ancient Roman world. She has taught extensively at the university, secondary, and primary levels in both the United States and Italy. From 2018-2020, she directed the development of the Digital Humanities Initiative at RESEARCH - THE ALEXANDRIA ARCHIVE INSTITUTE The Intellectual Property Issues in Cultural Heritage (IPinCH) research project was an international collaboration of archaeologists, Indigenous organizations, lawyers, anthropologists, ethicists, policy makers, and others working to explore and facilitate fair and equitable exchanges of knowledge relating to archaeology. An activity like this would require a guideline for students because 1) not every museum has objects from Mesopotamia, 2) every museum has a different onlinecollections search.
