VISUAL CONSTELLATION PHOTOS Natural Impression; The constellation photos resemble more or less the impression of the starry sky we have by naked eye. They are intended to be quite natural, just the way the well adapted naked eye might see the stars in a clear night at full darkness, little moonlight or at the rest of twilight. OPHIUCHUS - CONSTELLATIONS - DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY The large constellation of Ophiuchus fills the photography () and extends even somewhat more out.It lies below of Hercules and in between of the head (right) and the tail of the serpent (left) which the "serpent bearer" is carrying. In mid of June Ophiuchus culminates at about 23:30 LT (11:30 pm). The declination of the constellation borders ranges from -30 to +14 degrees. URSA MAJOR - CONSTELLATIONS - DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY The best known part of the large constellation of Ursa Major is shown in the above photography. It is famous as the Big Dipper () or the Plough, but as part of the Greater Bear it represents the back and tail of the bear (see a full view here). For mid northern latitude observers the bright constellation can be observed all year long as it never sinks below the horizon. URSA MAJOR - CONSTELLATIONS - DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY Ursa Major. The best known part of the large constellation of Ursa Major is shown in the above photography. It is famous as the Big Dipper ( see lines) or the Plough, but as part of the Greater Bear it represents the back and tail of the bear (see a full view here ). For mid northern latitude observers the bright constellation can beobserved
CANCER - CONSTELLATIONS - DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY In mid of april Cancer can be observed best in the evening at about 20 h local time between the constellations Leoand Gemini. The position is in the zodiac, i.e. in the plane of our solar system.SAGITTARIUS
Shown is the constellation of Sagittarius with its rich milky way starfields. The constellation outlines resemble nicely a tea pot ().For mid northern hemisphere observers Sagittarius never climbs high above the southern horizon. DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY Digital Images of the Sky - Gallery for Astrophotography. Photographies of all the sky show the wonders of the universe, from our starry landscapes to atmospheric phenomena, from the visible constellations to the galaxies far away. Constellations are presented for all months of a year. Deep exposed and highly resolved color photographies show stars down to twelfth magnitude in a standard field of about 26 x 39 degrees. THE ZODIAC - CONSTELLATIONS - DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY The twelve constellations of the zodiac are shown in natural appearing photos of the night sky. COLOR PRESENTATION OF ASTRONOMICAL IMAGES Explanation of using different color techniques in astronomical images. Additive RGB Mixing A computer screen and as an approximation also our eyes use the additive mixing of the three primary colors red, green, and blue, called the RGB Color Model.Additive means that the light itself (!) is mixed, for example red and green light is added toyellow.

DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY Gallery for Astronomical Images. Photographies of all the sky show the wonders of our universe, from the visible constellations to the fargalaxies.
ALL SKY VIEW
All Sky View cameras take images of the entire sky all around the clock. Also the night sky is captured with the stars, milky way and transient phenomena like meteors. CONSTELLATION PHOTOS Constellations. Constellations are presented for all months of a year. Deep exposed and highly resolved color photographies show stars down to twelfth magnitude in a standard field of about 26 x 39 degrees. DIGITAL IMAGES OF THE SKY A space between two strings is interpreted as boolean AND expression. No search strings will give you a thumbnail collection of all images.examples:
CONSTELLATION PHOTOS Visual - Deep For every constellation there is a "deep" exposed image showing a wealth of faint stars under a dark sky. Furthermore a different "visual" image is presented showing only the brighter stars.
