VIRTUAL ART CAMPS FOR KIDS 5-12 WITH THE ANN ARBOR ART Participants will work on 1 project per virtual art camp session. A 3-day camp will have 3 virtual sessions and 3 projects. Any future 5-day (Monday thru Friday) camps will have 5 virtual sessions & 5 projects. Sessions will be 15 minutes longer. They will now run from10:30am-11:45am.

We provide an array of experiential learning opportunities year round for a diverse and evolving audience in our fully accessible, ADA ART CAMP ANN ARBOR ART CENTER Each week, campers learn to throw on the wheel in the mornings. In the afternoons, campers learn a variety of handbuilding techniques to create stunning sculptures, tiles, or functional items. ARTBOX SUMMER CAMP EDITION: WEEK 6 Magnetic Monsters (With rearrangeable parts) This might be one of our Camp Director’s favorite projects. Draw a series of monster parts (eyes, noses, bodies, arms, legs, tails, etc.) onto paper-backed magnet sheets. Color them, cut them out, and then rearrange them on your refrigerator, or other metal surface, to create new and crazymonsters

This project should be done in a well-ventilated space, ideally outdoors on a non-windy day while you are wearing old clothes and gloves. This is a great project for teens and adults.
