STANWELL HYDROGEN PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDY This public Feasiblity Study is the final deliverable of the project and documents the detailed investigation by Stanwell into the feasiblity of a new project to produce green Hydrogen at their existing power plant site near Rockhampton, QLD, for supply to local users and Ammonia producers.MANILDRA SOLAR FARM
RENEWABLE ENERGY IN THE AUSTRALIAN MINING SECTOR The Australian mining sector consumes roughly 500 petajoules per year, 10% of Australia’s total energy use, and consumption has risen at 6.0% per annum over the last decade, driven primarily by increasedmining volumes.
GANNAWARRA ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM: PROJECT SUMMARY REPORT GESS is a pioneering project in Australia’s National Electricity Market. It is the first attempt at retrofitting a battery behind the existing point of connection of a HYBRID POWER GENERATION FOR AUSTRALIAN OFF-GRID MINES AUSTRALIAN RENEWABLE ENERGY AGENCY 4 HYBRID POWER GENERATION FOR AUSTRALIAN OFF-GRID MINES Contents 1.0 Introduction 6 1.1 Legislated Renewable Requirements 7 HYDROGEN ENERGY- AUSTRALIAN RENEWABLE ENERGY AGENCY (ARENA) Hydrogen is the most common chemical in the universe. It can be produced as a gas or liquid, or made part of other materials, and has many uses such as fuel for transport or heating, a way to store electricity, or a raw material in industrial processes. When it is produced using renewable energy or processes, hydrogen becomes a wayof storing
AUSTRALIAN RENEWABLE ENERGY MAPPING INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT Scope. A large amount of mapping data and information relevant to the renewable energy industry is currently collected and housed by different agencies and institutions. However, there is no central source for this information and finding it can be time consuming andchallenging.

BEVs are also known as ‘plug-in’ EVs as they use an external electrical charging outlet to charge the battery. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs): powered by a combination of liquid fuel and electricity. They can be charged with electricity using a plug butalso contain an
ARENA ACHIEVEMENTS TIMELINE ARENA Act commenced providing ARENA with $2.5 billion in funding to invest until 2022. • Absorbs Australian Centre for Renewable Energy (ACRE) and the Australian Solar Institute (ASI), which includes the ERP, REVC Fund, ABIR Program, Gen 2 Biofuels Program, ACAP, ASTRI andLARGE-SCALE SOLAR
Large-scale solar in Australia. LSS generation has grown rapidly in Australia and continues to hold an increasing share of Australia’s total energy mix. As at March 2021 almost 7,000 MW (DC) of LSS generation1 has been connected to the Australian electricity grid. This is more than 20 times the amount of LSS capacity connected whenARENA
WORLD-FIRST ‘SOLAR HYDRO’ POWER PLANT ADDRESSES NEED FOR On behalf of the Australian Government, the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has today announced $15 million in funding to RayGen Resources Pty Ltd (RayGen) to construct its first of a kind ‘solar hydro’ power plant comprising 4 MW of solar PV generation and 3 MW / 50 MWh (17 hours) of dispatchable storage capacity in north-west Victoria. WORLD-FIRST DISPATCHABLE RAYGEN SOLAR THERMAL PLANT TO BE A unique locally-developed technology that uses the sun’s rays to generate and store electricity will be demonstrated at scale for the first time.. Developed by Melbourne’s RayGen Resources, the Raygen solar thermal plant concentrates sunlight to produce electricity while also capturing heat created by the process to provide thermal energystorage.
