Asylum Insight is a resource hub which brings together comprehensive information and current commentary on Australian asylum policy. STATISTICS — ASYLUM INSIGHT People in Australia were granted humanitarian visas in 2019-20. This was a decrease on the 19,762 permanent humanitarian visas granted in the 2018-19 year.
