We do not discriminate on the basis of health or age. Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and humane refuge for abandoned pugs and

These pugs and pug mixes are waiting to find a forever home. Pug Rescue of Austin does not have a central location. All of our rescue dogs are in foster homes throughout Austin and nearby cities. To meet a dog, please fill out an application or attend an adoption day. We do not do same day adoptions, but adoption days are a great way to meetADOPTION PROCESS
Adoption Process. Pug Rescue of Austin is committed to the life, health, and well-being of every dog we place. The following is an outline of our adoption screening process and the steps it takes to complete. The entire process from application to approval takes an average of 1-2 weeks to complete. PUG RESCUE EMERGENCY Our goal is to never say no to a pug or pug mix in need. Contact our rescue team if you have any information about a pug emergency: Owner Surrendered Pugs. Injured Pugs. Neglected and Abused Pugs. Abandoned Pugs. Stray Pugs. We will take swift action to make sure the dog is safe and healthy, do our due diligence to find the rightful owner orADOPTION FEES
Pug Rescue of Austin pays for the pug to be neutered and treated for heartworms (if necessary). Each PRA pug is on monthly heartworm and flea medication throughout his or her time in foster care. If immediate and/or life threatening medical conditions arise during foster care, PRA pays for those surgeries. Less life threateningsurgeries, such

We will take swift action to make sure the dog is safe and healthy, do our due diligence to find the rightful owner or MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS Bryan Wittman has been a member of the Board of Directors of Pug Rescue of Austin since September 2012 and also serves as its Secretary. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri and Harvard Law School and has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years. ADOPTION FEES
Pug Rescue of Austin pays for the pug to be neutered and treated for heartworms (if necessary). Each PRA pug is on monthly heartworm and flea medication throughout his or her time in foster care. If immediate and/or life threatening medical conditions arise during foster care, PRA pays for those surgeries. Less life threateningsurgeries, such

Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and humane refuge for abandoned pugs and to ensure quality adoptive homes. Pug Rescue of Austin promotes responsible pug ownership through public education about the unique needs of pugs and a mandatory spay/neuter policy. We are a volunteer based organization with no paid staff. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers to cover the medical expenses ofour rescue pugs.
