Officers and medics were sent to the Glasgow Road area at around 11.30am but were unable to save the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. According to COUNCIL CONFIRMS GARDEN WASTE COLLECTION START DATE East Renfrewshire Council has confirmed the start date for an annual charge for garden waste collection. The opt-in scheme is set to begin on Monday, July 5 and households taking part will need to pay £40.
