This spectrum monitor, hosted at Goonhilly Earth Station in Cornwall, shows the Qatar-OSCAR 100 QO-100 / ES'HAIL-2 WEB RECEIVER PROJECT QO-100 / Es'hail-2 Web Receiver Project - by BATC & AMSAT-UK. Qatar-OSCAR 100 is the first geostationary amateur radio transponder, a joint project between the Qatar Satellite Company (Es'hailSat), the Qatar Amateur Radio Society (QARS), and AMSAT Deutschland (AMSAT-DL) which provided the technical lead.. The card must break out all 40 pins of the GPIO, and have another connector on top for the LCD display. Because of this the Portsdown team have designed a PCB for the job - the blank PCB is available from the BATC shop. SERIT TUNER
As of February 2017 the Sharp and Samsung NIMs are no longer available and the MiniTiouner project will use a NIM (or tuner) from Serit which covers from 143.75MHz right through to 2450 MHz without the need for any upconverters. The first prototype was shown at CAT16 by Jean-Pierre F6DZP - you can watch a video of his presentation on theBATC
GPIO BREAKOUT
The card must break out all 40 pins of the GPIO, and have another connector on top for the LCD display. Because of this the Portsdown team have designed a PCB for the job - the blank PCB is available from the BATC shop. (If you bought a breakout card from Willow it can still be used, but we recommend you use this card and put the Willow card inADF435X PIC

The incredibly flexible ADF4351 VCO/PLL chip with a few external components forms a very wide range high stability signal source with a clean output which is programmable from 35 MHz to 4.4 GHz. Such a device would have been unthinkable 10 years and is ideal for user in the ATVers shack as a test signal generator or a localDXSPOT.TV
