RAISED PSA | THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF UROLOGICAL If your PSA is raised, your doctor may repeat your blood test, to be sure that the value is still above normal limits, before arranging further investigations. With PSA levels between 3 and 10, only 20% of men have prostate cancer on biopsy. Higher levels of PSA make prostate cancer more likely (50% chance with a PSA greater than 10) BLOOD IN THE SEMEN (HAEMATOSPERMIA) The commonest cause of blood in the semen is low-grade infection or inflammation in the seminal tract (particularly in the prostate gland). It is important to be aware that: if it is associated with blood in the urine, whether visible or non-visible ( found on a urine test ), it should always be investigated fully;KEY POINTS - BAUS

Registration. In contrast to BAUS 2020, we are not offering registration for the BAUS 2021 conference as a free "member-benefit", largely due to the vagaries of UK tax law. We have, however, been able to reduce the costs down to a nominal level, whereby the registration fee becomes little more than a charge to cover administrativeexpenses.
