GROW THE BEST LEMON TREE All lemons need a well-drained soil to grow well. If your soil has a high clay content, or holds too much water, the tree will eventually produce less and less fruit and also be more susceptible to disease. Water your lemon tree well once a week to every 10 days. If it looks like your soil might be a problem, rather opt for a container. NOISY NEIGHBOURS? LICENCE RENEWALS
Over the past weeks, the NEWS has been inundated with calls from Bedfordview residents airing their frustrations at the level of service delivery offered by the licensing department.. Among other concerns, residents complained that the amount of time they have to stand in the queue was too long and some felt that upon arrival, they were not even sure what documentation they needed to take with #CUTOUTANDKEEP: MEET WARD 19'S WARD COUNCILLOR Clr Bill Rundle is the ward councillor for Ward 19. THE KENSINGTON CASTLE MYSTERY According to the Heritage Trust (KHT), the castle's owner, Mr Marius Van Der Spek, has not lived in the house for nearly three years. The property has only been maintained by a caretaker. NOISY NEIGHBOURS? HERE’S THE LAW REGARDING EXCESSIVE NOISE “We have a terrible time on Saturday nights. Sometimes the noise is so loud it penetrates the windows,” she said. Ms Borella added that even though her television set is on loud, sometimes the music played still penetrates the house. GOLDFIELDS - FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY There are massive expenses in running the grounds and because of this, they need to have an income from several sources. Goldfields hosts various dog shows from the different kennel clubs in Johannesburg which, according to Mr Forsyth, is a fun day out for the family at nocost.
