Born in Canada, mostly raised in the US Midwest, Tim TK Klassen has lived in Portland for over 27 years. Blue Sky was his 1st significant introduction to the art community here. Graduating with a BA in art from Goshen College in 1985, he's been practicing art ever since, mostly mixed media / collage. Often photography is an integral part ofthat.

SUBMISSIONs - Gallery exhibitions. The Exhibition Committee welcomes submissions from artists interested in presenting an exhibition of their work at Blue Sky. Hundreds of submissions are received each year, and every proposal is reviewed equally. If you would like to submit a proposal for consideration, please ensure that your work meets these guidelines before uploading files and filling EXHIBITION COMMITTEE EXHIBITION COMMITTEE. At the outset, Blue Sky’s five founders jointly organized its exhibitions – a curatorial model which has remained largely intact for more than four decades. Today, Blue Sky exhibitions are curated by an expert, volunteer Exhibition Committee comprised of more than twenty highly qualified members of theorganization.

Blue Sky established the Pacific NW Drawers program in 2007 to feature a juried, public archive of original prints by contemporary photographers based in the region. The Drawers program has quickly become a favorite aspect of Blue Sky’s ongoing programming, featuring original prints by more than 60 artists basedin Alaska
TIM KLASSEN
Born in Canada, mostly raised in the US Midwest, Tim TK Klassen has lived in Portland for over 27 years. Blue Sky was his 1st significant introduction to the art community here. Graduating with a BA in art from Goshen College in 1985, he's been practicing art ever since, mostly mixed media / collage. Often photography is an integral part ofthat.
