PATINA FARM GARDENS AND GUEST HOUSE IN 805 LIVING AND A Patina Farm Guest House and Pond. The feature is beautifully written by Joan Tapper and features some of my favorite images by Lisa Romerein. A GORGEOUS SANTA BARBARA ESTATE Bobby and Michael have a large collection of exotic birds, including these beautiful pink flamingos. photographs by Lisa Romerein. One of the original buildings from when the property was a working ranch sits. next to one of three ponds that Bobby designed. Bobby and Michael's Caribbean influenced home sits in a secluded canyon. PATINA FARM UPDATE: PALETTE... I hope you all had a great week! Steve and I just got back from Palm Desert. Steve had a site meeting for a project, and I had a fun time with my Mom. Steve and I spent the night at the La Quinta Inn. The original buildings were built PATINA FARM UPDATE: KITCHEN DETAILS... I have received a lot of requests to see my kitchen, now that it is complete I think this is the first image I've shared of my pot rack over my Lacanche range.My drapery fabricator, Miguel Salas, ordered the unlacquered brass rod, brackets and hooks from Morgik, the metal design company that fabricated all of our drapery hardware.The simplicity of the pot rack compliments the Lacanche 219 NORTH CLIFFWOOD...THE TOUR Tomorrow is the first official open house for the Cliffwood Residence that Steve and Paul just completed. Since most of you live too far away to visit I though I would give you a little tour Meridith Baer staged the entire main house. The walnut paneled library is to your PATINA FARM UPDATE: GRACE DESIGN ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPE It was a few years ago that we first visited our friends Penelope and Adam Bianchi's home. After experiencing their gorgeous property, we knew that there was only one person we wanted to help us with our landscape. Penny collaborated with Margie Grace of Grace Design Associates, to create something spectacular! It took me less than a second to enthusiastically reply "Yes!". This image of our dining room is one of my favorites. It's made of cedar wood siding with a corrugated metal roof. The opposite side of the coop has a door that opens to the vegetable garden. PATINA FARM UPDATE: PALETTE... I hope you all had a great week! Steve and I just got back from Palm Desert. Steve had a site meeting for a project, and I had a fun time with my Mom. Steve and I spent the night at the La Quinta Inn. The original buildings were built PATINA FARM: THE NEW CHICKEN COOP... The chicken coop is attached to the greenhouse. It's made of cedar wood siding with a corrugated metal roof. The opposite side of the coop has a door that opens to the vegetable garden. The ladies get to roam around the garden a couple of days a week. They help keep the pest population down. PATINA FARM UPDATE: KITCHEN DETAILS... I have received a lot of requests to see my kitchen, now that it is complete I think this is the first image I've shared of my pot rack over my Lacanche range.My drapery fabricator, Miguel Salas, ordered the unlacquered brass rod, brackets and hooks from Morgik, the metal design company that fabricated all of our drapery hardware.The simplicity of the pot rack compliments the Lacanche PATINA FARM UPDATE: GRACE DESIGN ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPE It was a few years ago that we first visited our friends Penelope and Adam Bianchi's home. After experiencing their gorgeous property, we knew that there was only one person we wanted to help us with our landscape. Penny collaborated with Margie Grace of Grace Design Associates, to create something spectacular! 219 NORTH CLIFFWOOD...THE TOUR Tomorrow is the first official open house for the Cliffwood Residence that Steve and Paul just completed. Since most of you live too far away to visit I though I would give you a little tour Meridith Baer staged the entire main house. The walnut paneled library is to your PATINA FARM UPDATE: EXTERIOR STONE AND CEDAR WOOD SIDING Steve's wood sided office will have a stone base as well. Antique barn beams surround the three glass doors to Steve's office. Beyond Steve's office, you can catch a glimpse of the chicken coop. Inside the coop, the "Chicken Kitchen" has been covered in stained Cedar boards this week. Several years ago, Steve designed this house in Brentwood, California for his friend, contractor Paul Morrow. Paul purchased the property as an investment and sold the house when it was complete. The 30" Reinhard Single Bowl Fireclay Farmhouse Sink has slimmer lines that look more appropriate with the Barber Wilsons faucet and the detailing of our cabinetry. On a side note, I have to recommend these Real Simple kitchen towels. They are microfiber and are fantastic for drying dishes, as well as cleaning surfaces. I used to think that the only way to find these treasures was to search flea markets and antique stores, until I found companies like Bobo Intriguing Objects.Owners Mark Sage and Rudi Nijssen have an incredible ability to turn old materials into fascinating new furniture, lighting and accessories.
