Observation notes: Individual was resting in a shaded area beneath a gazebo canopy before stirring, moving to sip nectar from the nearby lilac flowers. Wingspan is approximately two inches, upper body is a yellowish green. The legs appear to be mostly white in colour.SIGHTING 1292890

Observation notes: Warm sunny day, about 75 degrees F, this lone butterfly was probing a mud puddle along the gravel road near Turtle Flats. A few other Lorquin's were also seen flying in the area, or we saw one sunning on leaves in the forested wetlands nearby atSIGHTING 1293213
Coordinator notes: Alan: At least one of the photos is identifiable but without seeing the individual spread my ID is tentative. Size doesn't show in the photo. I have a good series of this butterfly, but seeing these on a hilltop seems odd but I know these occur in thatarea.
