In 1997, Calpis teamed with Welch's Foods Inc., the world's leading grape juice manufacturer, to market Welch's brand fruit juices Japan-wide. All of the products are based on a joint effort ―Welch's Foods 130 years of fruit juice know-how married to Calpis' beverage technology.
