BREAST CANCER
Although it can occur at any age, it is more common in women over 40. Almost 70% of breast cancers are diagnosed in women aged 40-69, and about 25% in women aged 70 and over. In rare cases, women are diagnosed during pregnancy. About 150 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in Australia each year and most of these men are over 50.SKIN CANCER
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) starts in the squamous cells of the epidermis. It makes up about 30% of non-melanoma skin cancers. SCC tends to grow quickly over several weeks or months. If left untreated, SCC can spread to other parts of the body. This is known as invasiveSCC.
