PSI trains approximately 15,000 students per year in public safety programs in Allegheny, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren and Washington Counties. The Community College of Allegheny County Honors Council will offer a pilot program this fall called Give Honors A Try! The program will permit non-honors students who meet certain criteria to take Honors courses. The CCAC Honors Program provides a myriad of opportunities for academic and personal enrichment, including guest speakers, active learning, field trips, real-world application of theory, lectures and performances, student-centered discussions, independent learning andstudy abroad tours.
