For at least the third time since a deadly disease spontaneously appeared in the United States and most certainly did not originate in any particular nation whose government pays internet trolls to censor, threaten, and extort people who say otherwise, a downtown Chicago building project is extending its ENORMOUS NORTH UNION DEV PLAN APPROVED :: CHICAGO ARCHITECTURE The plan to plant five blocks of downtown Chicago with seven skyscrapers and high rises has been approved by the Chicago Plan Commission. Look for the project name "North Union" to start popping up in a few months on construction barriers. Helmut Jahn, the legendary architect who used skyscrapers to leave his mark on Chicagoland and the rest of the world, died Saturday afternoon at the age of 81.. According to the Kane County Chronicle, a police report indicates that Jahn was riding his bicycle on Old Lafox Road in far west suburban Campton Hills, and didn’t stop for a stop sign atBurlington Road.
