The City of Camden offices will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. The Tennis Center of Camden is open reduced hours for limited play. Tennis courts and playground equipment in City parks, including Scott Park and Rectory Square, will be unavailable for use until further notice. City Hall and most city facilities remain closed to public access. Residents are encouraged to use City Hall's drive-thru window, the two drop boxes at City Hall, or use the City’s online bill payment or call 803-432-2421 for assistance. Fees will be waived for credit or debit card payments, and late fees will be waived for all residential and commercial utility bills until further notice. Disconnect for nonpayment has been suspended until further notice. Public access to the Police Department remains restricted to the front lobby. City of Camden utility and sanitation operations will be maintained, but with minimum public access to employees. All City of Camden Municipal Court cases are continued until further notice. Payments may be made online or by phone to the Court Clerk at 803-432-2421, ext. 120. The Court Clerk may be reached at beldavis@camdensc.org. Please notify the Court Clerk of any change of address. Certain cases may be resolved before the next trial date, please call or email, if you would like to inquire about your case. A nightly citywide curfew from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am remains in place until further notice, and residents are encouraged to avoid social gatherings and maintain a minimum of 6 feet from others when out in public. The Kershaw County government has activated a COVID-19 hotline.
