I added my little French-y goat cart in gray to the tableau on the table, with my lamb tureen nestled in a mossy green wreath. Hi Everyone, time for an Early Summer update here on the console in the Entry. The last time I shared this spot was before Easter, so I thought it was time to bring it into Summer before it started sprouting the flags and Patriotic red/white/blue. This was early April Easter/Spring 2020. COMMON GROUND : VINTAGE MINI SPRING BASKETS Vintage Mini Spring Baskets. I'm ready for Spring, I know most of you all are too. We've had a lot of cold weather here and frequent snow. Not deep snows, but snow none the less. The latest was this afternoon as I'm writing this. So many years we have a warm late winter when all the buds pop out, then a deep freeze will hit and early flowers COMMON GROUND : NEW HOUSE JOURNAL: TIMBER FRAME FRONT PORCH New House Journal: Timber Frame Front Porch. I hope you're all well and keeping your Holiday spirits high. In the Fall I knew I wanted to do something different here in the Dining Room. I didn't really realize how I'd been using the same tabletop decor year after year until I did the "LOOKBACK" POST ON THEDINING ROOM
last
week. So this year after decorating the table with something new for Fall, I decided to keep the basket, tapestry and demi-johns to see what I could come up with for a new look for Christmas. I ended up with a bit of a French Country feel to the tabletop.Read more »

It's been gloomy and rainy around here, which is typical for this time of year, so I thought for now I'd share a few pics from past posts of my Dining Room/s. This is just a peek at what I've been up to in here. My mantra this year for seasonal decor has been "don't get stuck ina rut!"
So I made a point to do something different from past Christmascenterpieces.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2020 CHRISTMAS MIX ON THE FRONT PORCH _Happy December, Everyone!__
_
Hi Friends, are you having fun transforming your home to Christmas? We had a couple of nice days over last weekend, so I wanted to get the outside decorating done while we wouldn't be freezing.
