She has been a part of the Council since 2016. A research project is currently underway to address accommodation issues within Ontario’s schools for students who have an intellectual disability and to identify the barriers impeding their access to education. Launched in February of 2017 by the Inclusive Education Advocacy Initiative, which consists ofCommunity

Exclusion: Students who have an intellectual disability were excluded from school or the classroom for disability-related reasons (45%).
