LORD OF THE RINGS BOARD GAME REVIEW Final Thoughts. This Lord of the Rings board game really is a classic. Sure, Pandemic started the latest co-op craze, but Lord of the Rings was probably the first big cooperative game to hit the market and it inspired others to design co-ops. It’s not as attractive as some of the games that have come out over the last decade or so, but it has smoother gameplay than most and it is a CTHULHU: DEATH MAY DIE REVIEW Cthulhu: Death May Die is a cooperative strategy game set in H.P. Lovecraft’s popular universe. You play as investigators and your job is to disrupt the cultists’ ritual, summon an Elder One into our world at its most vulnerable, and defeat it once and for all. Cthulhu: Death May Die was designed by Rob Daviau (Pandemic Legacy) and EricLAST BASTION REVIEW

Year: 2019 | Players: 1-4 Aftermath is a very solid storytelling adventure game and easily my group’s favorite of Jerry Hawthorne’s Adventure Book Games series so far. The writing is excellent, going through the adventures with your powered-up rodents is a lot of fun, and the campaign system makes the post-apocalyptic world change as you play through the game. TOP 10 COOPERATIVE DECK BUILDING GAMES Everyone in my group loves deck building games, as do plenty of other gamers.Competitive deck building board games like Dominion and Clank! have been top sellers for a while now because people seem to really enjoy feeling like they’re designing their own decks in-game. TOP 10 COOPERATIVE DECK BUILDING GAMES Everyone in my group loves deck building games, as do plenty of other gamers.Competitive deck building board games like Dominion and Clank! have been top sellers for a while now because people seem to really enjoy feeling like they’re designing their own decks in-game. It’s just an awesome mechanic and multiple designers have proven that it can work brilliantly in co-ops. TOP 10 COOPERATIVE BOARD GAMES FOR FIVE OR MORE PLAYERS It’s not easy finding any type of board game for larger groups, but that’s especially true when you’re looking for cooperative board games for five or more players. The truth is that most of the best cooperative games max out at four players. There are a lot of co-op games that support five or more, but many of them I’d consider just “playable” at higher player counts and much NEVERLAND'S LEGACY REVIEW Final Thoughts. Albion’s Legacy is the most unique game in this series, but I think Neverland’s Legacy will be hitting the table more often. It’s very easy to figure out the basics of the game, making it the best family game in this series. It’s also our favorite theme implementation of the three Legacy games.. If you’re interested in getting a Peter Pan board game, Neverland’s SPIRIT ISLAND REVIEW Final Thoughts. Spirit Island is definitely one of the best co-op board games I’ve ever played, but it’s not that high up on my group’s combined list. I’ve played it with seven people and three said they weren’t fans because it’s too much of a brain-burner. It really is, but I’m personally a fan of games that require a lot of analysis since that usually means the game has massiveSPRAWLOPOLIS REVIEW
Sprawlopolis Gameplay. Each of the 18 cards in Sprawlopolis is double-sided, with one side having a unique scoring condition and the other having the four zone types – commercial (blue), industrial (grey), residential (orange), and parks (green) – and roads that will be in your city. LEGENDARY ENCOUNTERS: ALIEN REVIEW Legendary Encounters: An Alien Deck Building Game is amazing! My group absolutely loves challenging, thematic co-op games, and Legendary: Alien definitely checks those boxes. It has a ton of epic moments that every co-op fan should experience. Even though everyone in my group likes Legendary: Marvel, we prefer this Alien version. GHOST STORIES BOARD GAME REVIEW Ghost Stories is a cooperative horror game that has you work together with your teammates to defeat one or more incarnations of Wu-Feng and a lot of ghosts that come before him. Paleo is easily one of my favorite cooperative board games of 2020. I’m a huge fan of co-op adventure games, and this is right up there with the best of them. Its core exploration mechanism is fantastic, there’s plenty of cooperation, and it has a theme that just about everyone can get into. TOO MANY BONES REVIEW Too Many Bones is a fantastic game.
