EMERGENCY MENTAL HEALTH SHELTER CARE The Emergency Mental Health Shelter is considered short-term placement to only be used for children in active crisis situations. While in our care, children will receive services to meet basic needs for food, safety, and shelter, among others. Residents have mandatory study time, and individual tutoring is available. Youth who are doing well in their treatment may attend public school off campus. OUTCOMES – CROSSROAD CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES, INC. It is one of the largest outcomes measurement projects underway in the United States among agencies that provide services to children. Measuring outcomes gives us the information to continually evaluate and improve our programs. Our outcomes data also helps us identify areas for improvement. It is this continuing emphasis on quality that COMMUNITY-BASED WRAPAROUND SERVICES These services are designed for families with a substantiated incident of abuse and/or neglect, but it has been determined that the child (ren) can remain in the home if appropriate services are introduced. Crossroad is able to provide Family Preservation services to families in Allen, DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties.
