In response to the increased compliance oversight and regulatory enforcement activity by the U.S. Department of State, CSIET has revamped its evaluation process and only accepts complaints regarding parts of CSIET Standards that are not part of U.S. Federal Regulation(22 CFR 62.25).

In response to the increased compliance oversight and regulatory enforcement activity by the U.S. Department of State, CSIET has revamped its evaluation process and only accepts complaints regarding parts of CSIET Standards that are not part of U.S. Federal Regulation(22 CFR 62.25).

Who We Are: The Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) is a not-for-profit organization committed to quality international educational travel CSIET STANDARDS FOR NON-US BASED INTERNATIONAL RECRUITMENT The lack of regulation and consistency around the recruitment and enrollment of F-1 international students at U.S. secondary schools raises ethical concerns, and also opens the door for misaligned expectations among the various parties involved in the administration of the enrollment process. CSIET LONG TERM, INBOUND STANDARDS Organized international student exchange activity that begins with participant recruitment and selection, includes the components outlined in the standards that follow, and terminates when the participant returns to his or her point of origin or otherwise severs the relationship with the program sponsor.SPEAKERS | CSIET
