Key Dates ADC History 1986 ADC is an independent, not-for-profit organisation established in 1986, to advance the practice and quality of alternative dispute resolution services such as mediation, conciliation and arbitration in Australia and Internationally. As one of the first ADR providers in Australia, ADC set the standard for accrediting mediators. NEW ACICA RULES 2021 The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) has introduced revised Arbitration Rules effective 1 st of April 2021.. The updated rules seek to modernise and digitise the arbitration process, as virtual proceedings become commonplace as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.New virtual hearing and e-filling provisions reflect ACICA’s commitment to embrace and AUSTRALIAN ADR AWARDS 2021 6th Annual Australian ADR Awards 2021 Nominations are now open until Wednesday 15 September 2021! The Australian ADR Awards recognise both individual and team excellence in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The Awards are open to all Australian citizens ASIA-PACIFIC COMMERCIAL MEDIATION COMPETITION The Asia-Pacific competition is closely associated with the ICC Mediation Competition, Paris. By competing in the APCMC, Universities have the chance of winning a reserved place to compete in the 17 th Annual ICC Mediation Competition in 2022. This is the world’s largest moot exclusively devoted to international commercialmediation.
