DODGE CARAVAN RADIO PROBLEMS Hi guys. I just bought a 09 dodge caravan sxt 3.8 liter. The guy i got it from said the radio doesnt work. After i bought it and was coming home the radio came on and worked for a little bit then shut off again. That did that a few times. I took the radio out and tried to mess with the wires but '08 AND UP - THE NOTORIOUS WIN MODULE The WIN is the wireless ignition receptacle you plug your fobik into and twist to start the engine. My '08 SXT minivan has a strange, intermittent "no crank" symptom that many people have reported their dealers successfully fix with a WIN replacement. There are no other symptoms and absolutely no trouble codes or messages so the PCM doesnot
NO BUS, NO GAUGES POSSIBLE SOLUTION The same story for us!! loose wire to the PDC. after many attempts to fix ourself we also had to take it to the shop-$159.00-so far so good but we'll keep the info on your "fix" in case it goes bad again,so thanks for the post!! seems there are a bunch of things that can cause the same symptoms-just a matter of finding which one! it can be VERY frustrating-thanks again for the info! LA 360 -VS- MAGNUM 360 ENGINES? Or use a carb Magnum intake manifold. There's millions of 360's waiting to be used, and 408's are easily had. VIBRATION BETWEEN 55-75 MPH My truck just had new steering linkage and new shocks recently. Also just put on Nitto 285/70/17 terra grapplers. I've had a vibration that drives me crazy between 55-75 mph that I believe has started since new tires. I feel it in the seat and not in the steering wheel which leads me to believe that it is in the rear end. It's worse at 65-70 mph. TRANS SLIPPING
My 46re is “slipping”. When 3/4 to full throttle in second gear, once the truck hits 3000 rpm it seems to pop in neutral and revs all the way up. Letting out of the gas and rpms return to normal and truck will drive normal again. Doesn’t do it a lot just every once in awhile. Every other gear is SOLUTION TO NO SPARK, NO START. RAM My truck just wouldn't start one day. No spark and no juice to the ignition coil. The solution is as listed below with my brother's help and the advices of others from this and the another Dodge forum. Good luck. Discussion Starter · #1 · Dec 16, 2008. My CEL came on Friday, took the truck over to Auto Zone, and they checked the codes, and came back with P1607. They said something about internal pcm failure. I took it into Dodge last night, and talked to the service manager today. He said he wasn't sure what it meant, and he said that there was a '08 4.7L SPARK PLUGS NOTE: ** Vehicles built with the 4.7L engine are. equipped with sixteen spark plugs, one set is located on. the top of the engine under the coils and the second set is. located on the side of the engine. The spark plugs located under the coils are a standard. plug and must be changed every 30,000 miles (50 000 km)2014 RAM GAS CAP
I checked the gas cap first and the seal looked good. I even tried the old Vaseline on the gas cap o ring trick but the light stayed on. It turned out to be the vapor leak detection pump. Bought a new one at Autozone for less than $30 and it took care of it. I had found a thread on another forum. I also did some poking around on the net for you and it seems if your battery starts to die in the car or in the remote the alarm could go off. try replacing both. another possibility is if someone did a bad job of installing an immobilizer on your car (i know i suggest one earlier) then that could also causea problem.

Is the 7000lbs the weight of the boat with the motor. Sometimes the motor is not included. With the boat being ~7000lbs and the max tow rating is 7350, you do not have much to play with. I have the 4.7L and I tow 5600lbs and I think it does ok. It could be better on the uphills, but hey, what can I complain about, I have a 4.7L with 3.55gears.

BLEEDING THE REAR BRAKES W/ ABS The owners manual says to bleed the brakes in the order of. - Master cylinder. - Combination Valve. - rear abs valve. - left rear. - right rear. - (then the fronts) We looked at the rear antilock valve under the hood and there doesn't seem to be any bleed port on it, so we're a bit confused as to what to do in regards to what the owner's manual MAGNUM FI TO CARB CONVERSION The conversion is pretty straight forward, be aware the alternator is regulated by the comp. the magnum heads and intake have the fasteners that go straight up and are not angled like the LA engines. Mounts are the same as is the tranny. V10 PERFORMANCE AND ECONOMY UPGRADES Hello guys I am new here and I am new to my truck, and could use some info. I just bought a 97 dodge 2500 extended cab long bed with a v10 in it. The truck has 56,000 miles and has been inside always, and is like brand new! I will be driving it on the highway with a load of empty to 3000 lbs in LA 360 -VS- MAGNUM 360 ENGINES? I took the radio out and tried to mess with the wires but 5.7 ENGINE COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN YEARS Ya it's got a Hemi! Joined Feb 18, 2008. ·. 294 Posts. #3 · Feb 8, 2010. I would say any year 5.7 engine will work. Having said that, it's the motor mounts, exhaust manifold, y-pipe, wiring harness, etc. that may be different thru the years. I'm sure someone else will chime in. I do have motor mounts off my 2004 5.7 Ram if you find you needthem.

You'll want brakes on the trailer if you tow that heavy a load though. My '86 D150, 318 with auto is rated for4000. C.
HEMI DRONE BUSTER?
The new muffler has made a difference but did not eliminate the drone. The drone has been reduce to 58-63 MPH range, which is right around 1600-1700 RPM, which is a good improvement. I can now easily cruise at 65 with greatly reduced drone, and as I continue up toward 68 or back to 55, the drone disappears completely. LA 360 -VS- MAGNUM 360 ENGINES? I have the 3 spoked polished aluminum rims on my 99 sport no lift with 285/75/16 Mastercraft courser MT's and there is no rub whatsoever. But my brother has the 5 spoke aluminum rims on his 97 sport no lift with the exact same tire as me and his rubs on the control arm at full lock ever so slightly. Apparently there is a difference in the MAGNUM FI TO CARB CONVERSION The conversion is pretty straight forward, be aware the alternator is regulated by the comp. the magnum heads and intake have the fasteners that go straight up and are not angled like the LA engines. Mounts are the same as is the tranny. I've had a vibration that drives me crazy between 55-75 mph that I believe has started since new tires. DODGE CARAVAN RADIO PROBLEMS Hi guys. I just bought a 09 dodge caravan sxt 3.8 liter. The guy i got it from said the radio doesnt work. After i bought it and was coming home the radio came on and worked for a little bit then shut off again. That did that a few times. But my brother has the 5 spoke aluminum rims on his 97 sport no lift with the exact same tire as me and his rubs on the control arm at full lock ever so slightly. REALLY LOUD FAN NOISE NORMAL? Sounds like the fan clutch is doing it's job. Worry only if it's really loud after warm up. WITH ENGINE OFF You can check by attempting to manually rotate the fan. If the fan cannot be rotated manually or there is a rough, abrasive feel as it is rotated, the clutch should bereplaced. K.

The new muffler has made a difference but did not eliminate the drone. The drone has been reduce to 58-63 MPH range, which is right around 1600-1700 RPM, which is a good improvement. I can now easily cruise at 65 with greatly reduced drone, and as I continue up toward 68 or back to 55, the drone disappears completely. My '08 SXT minivan has a strange, intermittent "no crank" symptom that many people have reported their dealers successfully fix with a WIN replacement. There are no other symptoms and absolutely no trouble codes or messages so the PCM doesnot

I have the 3 spoked polished aluminum rims on my 99 sport no lift with 285/75/16 Mastercraft courser MT's and there is no rub whatsoever. MAGNUM FI TO CARB CONVERSION The conversion is pretty straight forward, be aware the alternator is regulated by the comp. the magnum heads and intake have the fasteners that go straight up and are not angled like the LA engines. You need to get the pan back off and air check the rear servo thru the pressuretest port.
VIBRATION BETWEEN 55-75 MPH My truck just had new steering linkage and new shocks recently. Also just put on Nitto 285/70/17 terra grapplers. I've had a vibration that drives me crazy between 55-75 mph that I believe has started since new tires. I feel it in the seat and not in the steering wheel which leads me to believe that it is in the rear end. It's worse at 65-70 mph.
