WILKES COMMUNITY GROUP Wilkes is a quiet residential community located in far NE Portland between the Columbia River and NE Glisan (see map attachment below). Its residents are culturally and economically diverse and special efforts are made to bring everyone together as a community. COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES FUND Each group/organization may apply for up to $500 this fiscal year. There is a total of $15,000 available to support community-building and civic engagement activities in East Portland that occurred or will occur between July 1, 2019 to May 31, 2021. CAF funding can be CENTENNIAL COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION The Centennial Neighborhood is located in East Portland. There are multiple Parks, two Neighborhood Prosperity Initiatives, an annual National Night Out Celebration, and a very active community that advocates for community enhancements through the Centennial Neighborhood Association, the East Portland Action Plan, the Office of Neighborhood Involvement and through other City Bureaus. GLENFAIR NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION Glenfair Neighborhood Association was formed in 1996, when the Portland Planning Bureau introduced a proposal to rezone our area into high density housing within a quarter mile of the light rail. With the intent of preserving the inner core of Glenfair Neighborhood’s single family homes, a group of volunteers formed a committee to workwith
