Bijan Moosavi is an Iranian multi-media artist based in London. He describes himself as a Muslim entrepreneur and an Islamic Futurist. His video, music, performance and installation works draw on the aesthetics of corporate advertising, sci-fi movies, popular culture and the Islamic kitsch in order to create speculative fictional situations and scenarios from the future in which the HARUN MORRISON: EXPERIMENTS WITH EVERYDAY OBJECTS Book an exhibition visit HERE. NAWKI or ‘not as we know it’ began last year, with the intention to experiment with the art fair model, each iteration shifting its focus to a different framework with a selection of arts organisations and spaces across the UK invited to participate. SARAH TAYLOR SILVERWOOD LINK + SHIFT: ARTISTS WALK MARCH An octopus escaping from a skatepark, a group of gossiping blades of grass, and slimy gunk slithering off a park bench. These are just three of the scenarios that artist Sarah Taylor Silverwood developed with Yr 5/6 pupil’s at Fordbridge Primary School for Adventure Awaits, an interactive Walking Map of Chelmsley Wood.. Adventure Awaits is part of Link + Shift, a community project supported 3-PHASE – EASTSIDE PROJECTS 3-Phase. 26 January to 23 February 2019. Part of the unique development initiative 3-Phase, a partnership with Jerwood Charitable Foundation & WORKPLACE, Gateshead, these three solo shows are the finale of three exhibition moments, showcasing work by three artists over an 18 month period. (b. 1991, London) Adam Farah is an artist and composer born-n-raised in London; a complex and rapidly-mutating city, the nuances of which inform much of their practise.
