The complaints against the design were enough to force a change in the first year of 1917. The re-design was extreme to the opposite degree with Liberty’s breast covered in a coat of chainmail!

1806 Bust Half XF Details NGC "XF Details, Improperly Cleaned" Pointed 6, No Stems, O-109. An XF example of the Draped Bust/Heraldic Eagle design. One of the most beautiful designs that graced vintage coins. A little gold toning on the peripheries and traces of lustre in some of the recesses. The old cleaning has toned back giving it a natural appearance. $895.00Item #115186
1824/2 Large Cent AU Details NGC "AU Details - Environmental Damage" Even dark ebony brown color with razor sharp detail and a very high end AU. The surfaces are very nice, with just a trace of micro porosity on the upper left rim on both sides when examined with magnification. The overdate is very obvious on this higher grade example! The coin has the appearance of a dark, problem free example, though priced at a big discount! Greysheet is $2,500 in AU50! $795.00Item #116164
1900 Lafayette Dollar Commemorative AU50 PCGS A lovely, original specimen with golden grey centers and deep charcoal gray toning around the peripheries. A scarce early commemorative with a scant mintage of 36,026 pieces that gets quite pricey in highergrades! $329.00
Item #113240
1917-S Walking Half MS64 PCGS Gold Shield (Reverse Mint Mark) Fully toned in splashes of beautiful medium gold tones with luster shining through. The obverse has some beautiful iridescent rainbow colors at the bottom and right rim area in shades of teal, sea green and magenta. Coin is nicely struck with exceptionally mark free surfaces and gorgeous eye appeal! A scarce early date in BU, and very rare in this higher grade! Sells for nearly $10,000 just one pointhigher! $2,195.00
Item #113504
1867 Indian Cent MS62 NGC Brown Gorgeous eye appeal with lustrous red peripheries on the obverse and attractive deeper brown in the center. Reverse is about 80% brown, with about 20% red at the bottom. A scarce date that is MUCH nicer than your typical brown coin! $349.00Item #116463
1888 Seated Half MS64 NGC Blazing full white luster with boldly struck detail and amazing eye appeal. There are no distracting marks or spots and the obverse certainly looks MS65. Item #109286
1924-S Standing Quarter MS65 NGC A breathtaking coin with beautiful luster and very light gold toning on both sides. The surfaces are nearly mark free, and the head is nearly full. The surfaces display touches of light porosity around the peripheries. There is an indention that has been burnished in the right obverse field, probably to try to minimize it. Obverse has a couple of small, scattered bag nicks, including one on the top digit of the second 4 in the date. This is a very scarce, low mintage date with a Greysheet price of $1,200 in XF40 and $600 in VF20. A big discount on this rare date!$375.00
Item #112296

1926-S Buffalo Nickel XF45 NGC Superb light silver/grey color with plenty of luster remaining. This beauty has a full horn and an above average strike for this issue with excellent eye appeal. A very scarce date in XF and above. Greysheet is $1,700 inAU50! $1,049.00
Item #108537

1924-D Buffalo Nickel MS62 PCGS A lovely, original specimen with golden grey surfaces and subtle luster showing through the toning. This date is notoriously weakly struck on the reverse, particularly the horn, with even high grade specimens often not showing a full horn. This example does have some weakness around the bison's head and upper front leg, though shows a bold horn and is a well above average strike. With a loupe, there are a few pinpoint speckles in the lower left obverse and a little mint made planchet flaw near the bison's hind legs noted for accuracy. A superb example of this elusive date! $495.00Item #115373
1901 Morgan Dollar MS60 NGC Obverse has attractive sunset gold and grey toning along with a hint of steel blue around the rim. Reverse has attractive, deep gold toning in the center with gorgeous turquoise toning around the peripheries. Luster is clearly evident through the deep toning and there are surprisingly very few marks. Seasoned Morgan collectors know just how tough this date is to get in mint state, and it has been years since we have had one. This one has beautiful toning giving it wonderful eye appeal and so scarce in BU! $2,895.00Item #113536
1894-O Barber Dime AU Details NGC "AU Details - Environmental Damage" A scarce date with crisp AU detail and an original look. 1809 Bust Dime VF Detail PCGS "VF Detail - Repaired" A very high end VF that would probably grade VF30 with even, deeper golden grey color on both sides. There is a little bag nick in the left obverse field mentioned for accuracy, though looks problem free otherwise when casually viewed. With a loupe, there appears to be a little area in the field above the date that was burnished, probably to remove a scratch or nick. This is the first year of the Capped Bust Dimes, and boasts the lowest mintage in the series with a mere 51,065 produced! A super deal on this sharp coin with a Greysheet price of $2,000 in VF20 and $1,250 in F12!$975.00

A big discount for a very light cleaning! Greysheet is $2,600 in AU50!$1,749.00
Item #115761
1818 Bust Quarter VF20 PCGS A very original coin with deep, charcoal grey color and solid VF detail. An earlier date that has been well preserved and clearly never cleaned plus has a rotated reverse! $375.00Item #113579
1793 Wreath Cent F Details PCGS "F Details - Env. Damage S-5 Vine and Bars Edge" Obverse has lovely medium brown color with a full date and plenty of hair detail visible. The surfaces are evenly porous, causing some slight weakness in the word LIBERTY, though still fully visible. A little planchet streak is noted in the lower right obverse field. The reverse is a deeper brown color with even, heavier porosity and all the major detail visible. The porosity makes some of the detail a bit weaker, though still all visible. A nice example of this very scarce Wreath Cent that was minted the first year the U.S. mint started producing coins! Greysheet is $6,500 in F12 and $3,800 in VG8! We have this one priced to sell!$2,795.00
