This show at the Gravenhurst Opera House is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society in PADDLE THE PICKEREL RIVER IN LORING-RESTOULE, ONTARIO Paddler Randy Mitson turns voyageur by paddling the Pickerel River in Loring-Restoule – over 40 kilometres of stunning navigable waters.. My truck was packed and my wife and I were off on our canoe trip to beautiful Loring-Restoule – a paddler’s paradise in the northern part of the Explorers’ Edge region of Ontario. It was just over an hour’s drive from north Muskoka to our put-in FISHING FOR WALLEYE IN MUSKOKA Remember to fish in depths of 6 to 15 feet. If you are not getting any strikes, change things up, like trolling speed, depth, blade colors, or use real worms or minnows. My favorite blade colors for various Muskoka lakes are silver, gold and chartreuse. Muskoka’s walleye, pike, crappie, lake trout and bass have all been caught and released MUSKOKA BOAT & HERITAGE CENTRE GRAVENHURST Located on one of cottage country’s favourite dockside destinations, the one-of-a-kind Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre at the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst is dedicated to sharing the history of steamships in this region through preservation and on-going boat building, and to showcasing the elegance and serenity of renowned, historic resorts that once – and still do – pepper the landscape.
