A ferret can cost between $50 and $350 USD, depending on whether you buy it from a pet store, buy it from a breeder, or adopt it from a shelter. Like with any companion animal, the initial cost of a buying a ferret is minimal compared to how much it costs to take care of them. The main costs you should consider HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU BATHE YOUR FERRET? To bathe or not to bathe your ferret; that is the question. There is a lot of confusion about this topic amongst the ferret community. Some of the reason for this is misinformation given by pet stores and websites. Plus, as humans, we are taught to wash frequently to stay FERRET HUNTING: THE MOST IDEAL ANIMAL FOR HUNTING RABBITS But there is more to a working ferret than breeding. According to Simon Whitehead, a professional rabbit hunter in the United Kingdom, it is useful to cement their prey drive by feeding them fresh rabbit meat with the fur still on during the first years of their lives. He also recommends well socialized ferrets. HOW TO CLIP FERRET NAILS (GUIDE & TECHNIQUES) Your ferret should be on its back. Drip a bit of Ferretone on your ferret’s belly. Look carefully at your ferret’s claws. FERRET POOP: A COLOR CHART THAT TELLS YOU ABOUT THEIR HEALTH Normal Ferret Poop. Normal ferret poop is tubular in shape, has a smooth consistency and is tan-brown in color. Green poop. A very non-specific sign - it just means that food is moving through too fast. The normal brown color seen in feces is the end product of breakdown of old red blood cells. KEEPING YOUR FERRETS AS PETS HAPPY & HEALTHY About Ferret World. NICOLE DOLBY FROM FUZZYBUTT FERRETS TASMANIA*
The magazine has changed how I will care for my future ferrets! I am going to be fostering my very FIRST ferrets ever next month! I have read and researched through so many books and other sources, but the Dook Dook Ferret Magazine is by far at the top with the well known “Ferrets for Dummies”. The Dook Dook Ferret Magazine has changed how I will care for my future ferrets by helping to grow my knowledge of ferret care beyond my imagination. The best thing about the magazines is the variety. Every issue is something a little different! I love the magazines because they are informative and full of never-ending fun! I would recommend it to anyone considering becoming a farent and current farents as well because you can always learn more! They also have many great and entertaining stories to read. Because of Dook Dook Ferret Magazine, I will be one of the greatest first-time farents ever and that’s makes me so happy inside. Not to mention I work in a pet store, so being able to give reliable information to the community and my fellow employees is sosensational.

Another superb edition of Dook Dook Ferret Magazine. Just the right balance with the educational side, pictures, readers experiences and a little bit of fun thrown in too. I loved it and have to say I have learned more about little fuzz butts in the last 6 months than I ever thought possible and this from someone who has loved them as pets for well over a decade. Well done Stef and your team!STEVE SUTHURST
