CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MICROFINANCE SECTOR & OF THE THREE This report relates to activities implemented during the 'Poverty Outreach and Impact Assessment' in Mozambique, namely the study of secondary resources in the financial sector and of the key characteristics of the microfinance institutions (MFIs), namely Socremo, Tchuma and NovoBanco that took part in the assessment. OVERVIEW OF PRACTICAL CHALLENGES IN LOCAL SAVING This case study presents some of the experiences and obstacles to successful voluntary savings mobilization in the Ethiopian Microfinance industry by analyzing the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP). DIGITAL FINANCE FOR ALL: POWERING INCLUSIVE GROWTH IN Widespread adoption and use of digital finance could increase the GDP of all emerging economies by 6 percent, or USD 3.7 trillion by 2025. Digital finance could increase the volume of loans extended to individuals and businesses by USD 2.1 trillion and allow governments to save USD 110 billion per year by reducing leakage in spending andtax

This report highlights the nature and extent of the impact of COVID-19 on the cash-flows, business operations, and supply chains of these MSMEs.
