The Fair Work Amendment (Supporting Australia’s Jobs and Economic Recovery) Bill 2020 (Omnibus Bill) was expected to be the most significant amendment to our workplace laws since the introduction of the Fair Work Act (Cth) in 2009. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: PROPOSED LAND TAX CHANGES September 2019 – South Australian Government released the Land Tax Amendment Bill draft, proposing to lower the top rate for land tax from 3.7% to 2.4%. However, these new provisions will impose special higher rates on land held by trusts & also aggregate land held byrelated companies.
