I found an interesting article in today’s NY Times: Violations Reported at 94% of Nursing Homes More than 90 percent of nursing homes were cited for violations of federal health and safety standards last year, and for-profit homes were more likely to have problems than other types of nursing homes, federal investigators say DOES SUPPORTIVE HOUSING HURT PROPERTY VALUES? Fred Schack mentioned that the Furman Institute at NYU has done research o this, so I looked for their report. There’s two versions — the first one here is the shorter report of the findings, the second one is more detailed.
