REVIEW OF A 57CM PAKÉ BY THE FIXED GEAR GALLERY Paké is an interesting name. In Hawaiian slang it means Chinese but in a cheap way. I’m sure that is not what they had in mind with the name though. FIXED GEAR GALLERY REVIEW It rides very smoothly and the set-up was perfect. Dennis had the Angus dialed in perfectly for my 6'-2" height right out of the box (dennis: with a 100mm stem). I rode about 20 miles of flat roads with only a few moments of stress. The second ride had more hills and was a challenge, but worked out. It seems like months ago that the Wabi Special in size fifty-eight arrived here in northern Michigan and many of you have already seen the photos that I've got in this review. George Leakos - Fixed Gear. Here's a photo of another butchered Brooks. This is the Team Pro. Even with it's pre-softened leather, I've had absolutely no problems with the saddle sagging or flaring out in the middle. Hope you could use this as well. 2007 SCHWINN MADISON REVIEW BY THE FIXED GEAR GALLERY The bike feels well balanced in and out of the saddle, and the bottom bracket is high enough to keep your pedals out of trouble in the corners. The key in picking the right frame size is in the top tube, not the seat tube. This "58" has a 56.5 top tube which is just right for me with a 12cm stem. FIXED FROM OLD FREEHUB By Jussi Panula. Since quite a few people asked me about how I made this fixed system from an old freehub-system, I decided to do some sort of tech article: So here it is, step by step how I made it: First, I took out the freehub at the same time as when changing the hollow axle to bolt-model.FIXED GEAR GALLERY

While Matthew fabricates 95% of the frame, we found it to be a bit paradoxical to use an off the shelf fork: in this case a Pakè track fork (pronounced PA-kay like your Dad), but the straight blades compliment the curves of the frame - and besides Pakè is a California product, though not technically made in California.
