FLÅM RAILWAY NORWAY The Flåm Railway is one of the world’s steepest train rides built on normal tracks, and close to 80% of its tracks run through a rise of 55%. The tunnel which spirals in and out of the mountain and is an impressive work of engineering. The 20 km long train ride takes you from the high mountains and down to the fjord. THE SEVEN SISTERS WATERFALL Seven Sisters. Next to the deserted farm Knivsflå, you will witness seven waterfalls with an average fall of 250 metres, which is an impressive sight especially when the water levels are high. The Vøringsfossen Waterfall has a free fall of 145 metres and a total fall of 182 metres, and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway. THE TROLL WALL NORWAY The climbing route for the mountain Trollryggen was first conquered in 1958 by Arne Randers Heen and Ralph Høibakk. Skåpet is a self-service lodge designed by Estonian Koko Architecture + Design. The facility consists of a main lodge and six private mini-huts which can be rented. The facility has a dry compost toilet, a sauna with a lake view and an outdoorshower.
SCENIC ROUTE OLD STRYNEFJELL Scenic Route Old Strynefjell. This road, built more than 100 years ago - by manual labour - winds its way over the mountains between Stryn and Skjåk.
