Originally from Yorkshire, Hannah co-founded Paint By Number, a curatorial collective devised to support and unite emerging artists.Having curated a series of group exhibitions, the platform became a biannual magazine. Folkestone Fringe curates art, architecture, sound, and performance in Folkestone. We produce a range of annual festivals for the town, with the intention of presenting high-quality work by local and visiting artists. We want our audiences to see, watch, hear and learn new things. We want our work to connect people to each other and the place we live in. Profound Sound returned 21- 23 Feb 2020 to bring experimental live music to the darkest days of winter. This year, we dialed up the intimacy by keeping it local, and also brought in some special international acts thrown into the mix. Several venues across Folkestone hosted music, sound, performance, DIY-feel workshops, installation/sound-art & DJ-sets for a high-quality, focused programme of events which marked the festival's fifth anniversary.
