CAMTASIA RENDERING SLOW? CHECK YOUR GPU As of Camtasia Studio 8, they started supporting CUDA rendering on GPU. Problem is, if you like me are running an Optimus GPU, it uses the wrong one and the results are way slower. Telling it to run on the dedicated GPU resulted in a 3x increase in speed for me. Simply right click the shortcut or executable and select the high performance GPU: LUMINAR 4 WITH AFFINITY PHOTO In the resulting window select Photoshop Plugins. Now click the add button, then select the Luminar directory. Once selected, Luminar 4 should show up in the detected plugins section. VCPKG -- C++ EASY MODE STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL Launch Visual Studio Code, then lets set up a pair of extensions, CMake Tools and C++: Next we need to configure Visual Studio Code to be aware of vcpkg. Open settings.json (this is a global configuration file for Visual Studio Code itself) by selecting File->Preferences->Settings or UNREAL ENGINE DEVELOPMENT ON LAPTOPS. TIPS TO MAXIMIZE This command will run in the terminal and hard limit the CPU available to Unreal Engine to 30%. Obviously this is going to have a MAJOR impact on performance, but will also greatly limit battery drain too. Obviously you can set the limit to whatever value you wish.
