BLOG — GENTLE LEADING I was afraid of being “too much” and changing the relationship. I just wanted to be “fun” and normal. The experience of post-partum anxiety began for me at 37 weeks pregnant with each of my children. HE GENTLY LEADS THOSE THAT HAVE YOUNG He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that have young.. Isaiah 40:11. A dear friend encouraged me with this verse towards the end of my first pregnancy. BEYOND AWARENESS: 15 WAYS TO LOVE EACH OTHER WELL IN It is my sincere hope that this simple list will help women bridge the awkward and painful gap carved by this unique pain, protect against bitterness, and aid each other in clinging to grace as the Lord givesand takes away.

WHEN BREASTFEEDING ISN'T EASY: 10 ENCOURAGING THOUGHTS FOR When I was pregnant with my first baby, my sweet friends threw the most precious baby shower. It was all of my 20-30 something girlfriends. The hostesses organized a trivia game where each girl had to guess the answers to some questions specific to SITTING IN THE TENSION: SHOCKING SORROW, SWEET SURPRISE Three of my friends gave birth to baby girls in the month of August. One of them was born asleep. Two of them announced the news about their daughters on social media on the same day. A local friend posted a photo celebrating the safe arrival of their surprise baby girl after two boys, and right be HOPE DEFERRED: A STORY OF SWEET SURPRISE AND SHOCKING LOSS “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. ” — Proverbs 13:12 “ The delay of what is anxiously hoped for, is very painful to the mind; obtaining it is verypleasant.
FREEDOM FROM ENVY
Envy is a nasty little animal which took day four of my baptism by fire into motherhood as an opportunity to rear its ugly head. I wouldn't have been able to call it "envy" at the time. I probably would have explained it away as fatigue or an "adjustment" but it wasenvy.&
