Hi Benjamin, to apply "cut and merge faces", check the corresponding item (under Tools->Options->Geometry->General) and load your geometry (e.g. in STEP format). Then duplicated faces may be cleaned so that you get a conformal mesh. IF your geometry does not appear at all, try if you can load it with "cut and merge faces" unchecked. It only plots data for one element, but can be extended for your case. The "addModelData" call is expecting a vector of vectors with 9 entries each for this case. ROTATION OF SURFACE IN GMSH Hi Gmsh Community, Hope you are doing well. I am quite new in Gmsh. I was trying to make a geometry as same in the attached picture. I am able to create both surfaces but was not able make an inclination ofthe upper surfaces.

The short answer is that the extrusion along normals does only work in 3D (extrusion of a surface to create a volume) and has not been implemented in 2D. APPLY "REFINE BY SPLITTING" TO A SINGLE TRANSFINITE Essentially what I would like to do is refine the mesh in areas where I expect the flow will have a smaller length scale. Something like this: The caveat is that I would like for the mesh to be structured. I've looked into size fields but my understanding is that they only work for unstructured meshesABOUT ATTRACTORS

You are right There is an already known bug with the 3D Delaunay algorithm on the _Windows_ platform.
