I took inspiration from this recipe and made my own adjustments to ensure the flavours were just as I wanted. That is, bold in colour, soul warming with intensely deep flavours. A soup, where, spoon after spoon, your taste buds ignite and tingle with SPINACH AND RICOTTA CANNELLONI: BEST MEAT FREE MONDAY Melt the remaining butter in a pan, stir in the flour, and cook for at least one minute stirring continuously. Add the milk a little at a time, keep stirring and cook for 2-3 mins until thickened and smooth. Stir in half the parmesan and season to taste. Bake in BURMESE PANCAKES: SIMPLE NO FUSS, EVERYDAY, FAMILY RECIPES Whisk the eggs with 30g of the melted butter and pour into the bowl of flour. Make a well in centre of the flour mixture and gradually pour in the whisked eggs, milk and cooled vanilla jaggery/palm sugar syrup mixture (or maple syrup), whisking (pulse if using a food processor) all the time until you have a batter the consistency of single cream. BEST EVER YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS: GILLIAN'S KITCHEN, SIMPLE Yorkshire puddings are made from a simple batter of eggs, flour and milk and couldn’t be more simple. Place your flour and pinch of salt into a medium sized bowl and make a well in the centre. MARYLAND STYLE CRAB CAKES 4 spring onions chopped. Instructions. In a medium bowl combine salt, crab, parsley and spring onions. Mix well to combine then add the breadcrumbs and mix in well. In a small bowl mix the beaten egg with the mayonnaise, mustard, sriracha and Worcestershire sauce. Add the wet ingredients to the crab mixture and combine well. HEART SHAPED SHORTBREAD: PERFECT FOR VALENTINE'S DAY OR 125 g (4 oz) butter. 55 g (2 oz) cater sugar plus extra to sprinkle. 180 g (6.35 oz) plain flour. Instructions. Heat the oven to 190C/375F/Gas 5. Beat the butter and the sugar together until smooth. Stir in the flour to get a smooth dough. Turn onto a work surface and gently roll out until the dough is APPLE CRUMBLE BREAKFAST MUFFIN TRAY BAKE: DELICIOUSLY This Apple Crumble Breakfast Muffin Tray Bake contains five granny smith’s apples, which makes them deliciously moist and the spelt flour makes them tender and light. The apple purée is not blended to a smooth paste which creates added texture and moistness. RASPBERRY CRANACHAN : A PERFECT DESSERT FOR A BURNS NIGHT Raspberry Cranachan. Raspberry Cranachan is a typical Scottish dessert dating back to the 18th century. It’s a very quick & simple dish to prepare, not to mention delicious. Remove the tray from the fridge and place 3/4 teaspoon of the brandy mince meat into each pastry cavity. Add a tablespoon of the frangipane mix over each mince meat filled pastry. Sprinkle each pie with some flaked almonds and bake for 15 minutes, or until the pastry is cooked and the tops are golden brown. CHICKEN BREASTS WRAPPED IN PANCETTA: DELICIOUS AND SIMPLE Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Pancetta is one of those, “you’ve no idea what to cook for dinner, little time to prepare, yet extremely tasty type of recipes you can always be confident to fall back on”..
