We probably shouldn’t utter this out loud, but… are we really just a few weeks away from spring? * Your new favorite bar has arrived: Good Bar (from the good people behind Good Room) will host its grand opening tonight from 5pm until late; the cozy, audiophile space features a vintage Thorens TD 160 turntable and Klipsch Heresy III speakers, a comfort food menu, specialty cocktails, happy hour specials, a curated record library, special listening events, and a very ‘gram-worthy discoball (of course). * Nowadays has started a community bulletin board for music lovers to post about events, spaces for rent, job opportunities, roommate searches, stuff to sell, and more. * Mark your calendars for next Saturday (3/7), when a very specialFixed brings
another insane lineup to Good Room: Mexico’s Zombies in Miami (playing their can’t-miss live set), Thomass Jackson (Argentina born, CDMX based), and Rocco Desentis join local faves Juan Maclean, Fixed residents JDH and Dave P, and our resident Facets. The interactive tool displays all of the city’s best dancefloors (with discoball icons for our very favorite ones) with all of the info you need just a click away. (If you open on your phone, you should also be able to save to the Google Maps app, showing you in real-time the venues closest to you at any time.) We plan to add more tips and info in the near future and will keep the listing as up to date aspossible. Enjoy!
