HALFWAY BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND THE NORTH POLE A pitstop at Mastodon Ridge in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia is more entertaining than I ever would have imagined. The region, which stretches alongside the St. Lawrence between Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and Tadoussac, actually sits inside a crater that was formed by the impact from a meteorite that hit 350-400 million years ago and has been named a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. HALFWAY BETWEEN THE EQUATOR AND THE NORTH POLE A pitstop at Mastodon Ridge in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia is more entertaining than I ever would have imagined. Our first car trip between the Canadian provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island was completely unplanned.
