Starkey Hill is a 37-hectare property featuring a hiking trail that offers panoramic views of Guelph and surrounding areas. There is a parking lot on Arkell Road (Sideroad 30), southeast of Guelph. ROUTES AND ACCESS POINTS Wilson's Flats - Eighth Line Bridge, west of County Road 21 near Inverhaugh. This river access point is maintained by the Township of Centre-Wellington . Golf Course Road, Conestogo ( Priddle Park, Township of Woolwich ) Victoria Street (Kitchener) to Cambridge (Galt) This section passes through the cities of Kitchener and Cambridge(Galt).

Conestogo Lake Park is located in the heart of Mennonite Country. It offers visitors the chance to camp, boat, sail, waterski, canoe and fish on a y-shaped reservoir that stretches six kilometres up each arm. The reservoir is created by Conestogo Dam, which has a viewing area providing a unique vista of the river and surrounding forests andfarms.
LAUREL CREEK
Laurel Creek offers 4.5 kilometres of multi-use trails set in 300 hectares (750 acres) of hardwood and pine forests, for passive use such as hiking, skiing , snowshoeing and birdwatching. The trails are groomed and track-set for classic skiing, as conditions permit.BELWOOD LAKE
Belwood Lake is a 12-kilometre-long reservoir created by the construction of Shand Dam in 1942. It offers excellent boating, fishing and water-skiing. A spring-fed quarry with a sandy beach is a great place to swim. Visitors can walk across the dam and view the reservoir waters as well as enjoy a vista of the Grand River valleyfar below.
WOOLWICH RESERVOIR
Woolwich Reservoir is one of seven owned by the GRCA to manage floods and maintain flows in the Grand River system. The entrance is at 7224 Reids Wood Drive, northwest of Elmira. ( Map) The Elmira Lions Club built and maintains the Lions Trail, a 7-kilometre hiking and cycling trail that goes around the reservoir and through nearby wooded areas. GYPSY MOTH - GRAND RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY Gypsy moth ( Lymantria dispar) is a highly cyclical non-native forest pest. Their caterpillars eat the leaves of a wide variety of trees. Oaks are a preferred species. High populations of gypsy moth result in tree defoliation with significant potential impacts on tree and forest health. TUBING - GRAND RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY Tubing operates daily, when conditions allow, from June 15, 2021 to September 7, 2021. The hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last equipment rental out at 4 p.m. GRCA-owned equipment must be returned by 7 p.m. on the same day. No walk-up sales of tubing tickets or equipment rentals will be available at the park.PARK MEMBERSHIPS
The Grand River Parks membership card allows entry to 10 parks and the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area, during their operating seasons, for up to 6 people in one vehicle (or walking in). The cost of membership is $140. Camping. Camp sites: Byng Island has 380 campsites in four main campgrounds, each providing different features: forested, riverfront, serviced and access to the Grand River. This includes 134 serviced sites (electricity and water) and 246 unserviced sites. Some unserviced sites with a riverfront location are charged at a premiumrate.
ROUTES AND ACCESS POINTS Wilson's Flats - Eighth Line Bridge, west of County Road 21 near Inverhaugh. This river access point is maintained by the Township of Centre-Wellington . Golf Course Road, Conestogo ( Priddle Park, Township of Woolwich ) Victoria Street (Kitchener) to Cambridge (Galt) This section passes through the cities of Kitchener and Cambridge(Galt).
CONESTOGO LAKE
Conestogo Lake Park is located in the heart of Mennonite Country. It offers visitors the chance to camp, boat, sail, waterski, canoe and fish on a y-shaped reservoir that stretches six kilometres up each arm. The reservoir is created by Conestogo Dam, which has a viewing area providing a unique vista of the river and surrounding forests andfarms.
STARKEY HILL

Starkey Hill is a 37-hectare property featuring a hiking trail that offers panoramic views of Guelph and surrounding areas. There is a parking lot on Arkell Road (Sideroad 30), southeast of Guelph.BELWOOD LAKE
Belwood Lake is a 12-kilometre-long reservoir created by the construction of Shand Dam in 1942. It offers excellent boating, fishing and water-skiing. A spring-fed quarry with a sandy beach is a great place to swim. Visitors can walk across the dam and view the reservoir waters as well as enjoy a vista of the Grand River valleyfar below.
TUBING - GRAND RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY Tubing operates daily, when conditions allow, from June 15, 2021 to September 7, 2021. The hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last equipment rental out at 4 p.m. GRCA-owned equipment must be returned by 7 p.m. on the same day. No walk-up sales of tubing tickets or equipment rentals will be available at the park.PARK MEMBERSHIPS
The Grand River Parks membership card allows entry to 10 parks and the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area, during their operating seasons, for up to 6 people in one vehicle (or walking in). The cost of membership is $140. PINEHURST LAKE
In addition, to address overcrowding and promote physical distancing, the total number of daily park visitors is limited. Before you arrive, check the status of any Grand River Park. Pinehurst Lake, a 9-hectare (23-acre) kettle lake is surrounded by a Carolinian Forest offering visitors a great place to camp, swim, picnic, hike, fish and paddle.BELWOOD LAKE

LUTHER MARSH
The Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area is a biological treasure in the headwaters area of the Grand River watershed. The 5,900-hectare property centres on the 1,400-hectare Luther Lake, created by Luther Dam, built in 1954. Surrounding it are wetlands, fields and forests providing habitat to a wide variety of birds, animals, plants andtrees.
SHADE'S MILLS
Shade's Mills is a day-use park offering a great place to enjoy nature just a few minutes away from the city. Favourite activities include swimming, sport fishing and canoeing. Hikers and cyclists can enjoy 12 kilometres of trails through a mature hardwood forest along MillCreek.
SNYDERS FLATS
The forest was planted in conjunction with the Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club. There is a 4.5 kilometre looped trail with interpretive signs that explain the features of Snyder's Flats.
