A proud recipient of the ArtServe Michigan Governor’s Arts Award for Outstanding Cultural Organization, Grand Rapids Ballet has a rich history marked by steady growth, a commitment to excellence, and strong community support. IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE Due to the immediate closure of all non-essential business, Grand Rapids Ballet and Grand Rapids Ballet School have taken steps to protect the safety of our employees and community by cancelling the remaining performances of the 2019-20 season and suspending the reopening of Grand Rapids Ballet School until Governor Whitmer orders it is safe to reopen. _THESE ACTIONS HAVE CREATED AN UNPRECEDENTED FINANCIAL BURDEN IN OUR 48-YEAR HISTORY, AND WE NEED YOU DURING THIS UNCERTAIN TIME._ COVID-19 is having a significant financial impact on our organization, staff, and dancers. All forms of revenue, including ticket sales and school tuition, have been affected. We have undertaken cost-cutting measures, but if we are to weather this storm, your support is now more vital than ever before. Please consider donating or purchasing a subscription for the 2020-21 season today. We look forward to our return to the studio and stage and to continue to bring world-class performances and ballet instruction to our community. Thank you for your continued support.Donate to the art
