Sow a heart-shaped wildflower patch. HARVESTING YOUR OYSTER MUSHROOM Harvesting your oyster mushroom. So you're at the point where your fungus is beginning to fruit - congratulations! At this point, as long as you're keeping your fungus nicely hydrated, things should move very quickly. From hour to hour you will see your mushrooms growing bigger.SEED SAVING

In your kit you'll find a mixture of wildflower seeds - these vary depending on the country in which you're sowing them. Below is a handy guide to the mix of seeds for your country. We have used the common name in bold, followed by thebotanical name.

WHERE TO GET UK NATIVE WILDFLOWER SEEDS & PLANTS Check the label - you can introduce native seeds or plants to an appropriate site if they originate from the UK so check to see if they are labelled as UK natives. Reputable source - to be certain of this, only purchase plants and seeds that are truly natives from a reputable supplier. Mixed bag - many of the wildflower seed mixes found in WHAT'S THAT WILDFLOWER? This template assumes that you’re looking at wildflowers in bloom during the Summer months, and that’s a very good place to start when you’re learning to identify wildflowers. We've even filled out a few templates of our own for you to download that will help get you started! Print out some copies, share them out, and work through the MAKE A SOLITARY BEE HOUSE Step 2. Place a ball of clay/mud inside at the base and push down firmly to secure. Step 3. Fill the inside space with hollow tubes. Step 4. Push tubes firmly into the clay/mud. Step 5. Line the container with your warm fabric, packing the tubes in as tightly as possible so they're firmly held in place. Step 7. CHURWELL URBAN WOODLANDS The site is open all year round and free to enter. There are several circular walks of different lengths throughout the woodland. The village is situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) south from Halifax, 4 miles (6 km) north-west from Huddersfield and 1.5FUNGI FRONTIER
Rainbow Grow is located at HCVS and Age UK, Dalston. The Fungi Frontier will be part of a wider re-greening project that includes an accessible raised-bed garden (currently being developed). We are just down fro Dalston Junction Station. We meet on a regular basis (most Tuesdays and usually one weekend day each month). ALL ABOUT SOLITARY BEES Solitary bees spend their early months hidden in the nest growing. They then spend the winter as a cocoon (or pupa) before emerging the following spring or early summer as adults. Once the adult bees have mated, the female looks for a suitable nest and the cycle repeatsitself.
