HAPPY HOOLIGANS
Kids crafts, kids activities, crafts and activities for toddlers, preschoolers, elementary students, tweens and teens, home daycare activities, easy recipes and parenting advice. 50+ NATURE CRAFTS FOR KIDS Below you’ll find links to more than 50 of my favourite Nature Crafts for kids. Whether you have toddlers, preschoolers, elementary kids or tweens, you’ll find plenty of ways for your kids to make art, homemade gifts, and interesting crafts with stones, sticks, leaves, pinecones, seashells and more. EASY RHUBARB CAKE (FROM SCRATCH) Stir in the chopped rhubarb. Spoon into sprayed (or greased and floured) 9 x 13 baking dish or cake pan. Sprinkle with white sugar/cinnamon topping. Bake 40 minutes at 350º F. (or until knife comes out clean) Shake pan from side to side to evenly distribute sugar topping if necessary.BABY ROBINS

You may also like our rockin’ robin craft and our paper plate robin craft. Both are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. STYROFOAM PRINTMAKING FOR KIDS (BLOCK PRINTING) Learn how to do Styrofoam Printmaking (or block printing) with a styrofoam produce tray and a paint roller. With this fun and easy technique, you can make multiple prints of the same image and use them for homemade greeting cards or art that can be framed and given as a gift. Great art activity for kids of all ages, from preschoolers rightthrough to teens.
STRAW WEAVING (WEAVING ON DRINKING STRAWS) Tape straws. Tape 3 drinking straws together at one end, leaving a very small gap between the straws. Weave. To weave on your straws, leave a long tail, and insert your yarn between two of the straws, close to the taped end. Weave over and under the straws until you get to the 3rd straw and then weave your way back to the first straw. 8 BEGINNER WEAVING PROJECTS FOR KIDS Note: I’ve included a couple of projects for younger children at the bottom of the post. My daycare kids love weaving so we’ve done quite a few fun and easy weaving projects in the past year. Our first project was a traditional cardboard loom weaving activity and from there we progressed to much more creative projects. BEST BREAD MACHINE HONEY-OAT BREAD RECIPE Instructions. Add liquids to bread machine pan. Add dry ingredients except yeast. Add yeast, making sure to keep separate from the salt. Select the 1.5 lb loaf setting (basic settings) on your bread machine, and press start. Remove bread from pan when done, and 20 POWERFUL THINGS YOUR HIGH SCHOOL GRAD NEEDS TO HEAR Equally important, be kind to yourself. 7. When Possible, take morning classes – If you start class at 8 or 9 you’ll likely be done by noon. Last summer, we returned home after 10 days of camping to discover that in our absence, a mother Robin had built a nest in the rafters of our covered deck. Shortly after, she laid 3 eggs, and I set up a ladder close by, and spent the next several weeks getting up close and personal with our baby robins.
